“Innovative X-ray Imaging Methods for Materials, Biological and Medical Analysis” is the title of a project proposal for a Marie Sklodowska-Curie

training network, submitted at EU for funding. Research activities and education philosophy of the virtual institute are a good base for such a network. An acceptation would expand the VI-NXMMs outreach to Europe. Additional to the VIs partners, European Synchrotron Radiation Facility ESRF (France), Lund University and MaxLab (Sweden), University of Copenhagen (Danmark) and Vienna University of Technology (Austria) with in total 15 scientists would participate in the research and training network. Junior scientists would get excellent possibilities to perform research in X-ray imaging and applications as well as support in their personal carrier development.
