A new visibility record was achieved with improved sun-ray gratings. Using the same X-ray tube setup at TU Munich as in June, the visibility was increased by about 40%.

Also the homogeneity of the gratings was improved significantly. These improvements reduce image noise and artefacts: prerequisite to reduce exposure time and so the irradiation dose for future patients in medical applications.
