Refractive Rolled X-ray Prism Lenses (RXPLs) are made by rolling a micro structured polyimide foil around a winding core

with 125 µm diametre. Apertures up to about 2 mm diametre are possible. These optics can be used for illumination purposes in full field microscopy or to illuminate a small spot on a sample at photon energies between 8 keV bis 30 keV. Until now the smallest measured spot sizes were about 17 µm in diametre.
