With the transfer of the interim report, the virtual institute applied for a one year prolongation of the VI-NXMM. This prolongation would render

possible to finish outstanding tasks. Some of these tasks result from postponing the reconstruction of PETRA III several times, now taking place in 2014. In 2014 many measurements using optics developed until then were planned. These measurements now have to be postponed to 2015. Also further interesting questions arose within the runtime of the virtual institute.
